Mission 1: Unlock Your True Motivation

There’s a reason this mission is the first one.

Without motivation, you’re unlikely to succeed at your weight-loss goal.

The best knowledge, support, tools and resources will not be enough if they’re unsupported by a strong desire to be slimmer. No matter how good my system and suggestions are, you have to implement them. I can’t do this without you.

With motivation, you will succeed.

You may not lose as much weight as someone else, or at the same speed, but you will get slimmer. It’s that simple.

The secret is to tap into your true motivation for losing weight – which is often not the reason you think you want to lose weight.

This true motivation is the source of your weight-loss success.

So let’s find it and unlock its power.

My “visual” will be to hang that slinky little brown dress in a place where I will look at it every day. If I can find a picture of myself in it (I don’t think there is one), I will pin it to the dress hanger; otherwise, I will look for a picture of myself at least ten pounds ago, and post that.

I found several reasons why I want to exercise and lose weight! I am feeling very excited now. I’m putting a photo of me from 5 years ago (thinner and more confident) in my notebook.

OMG! This first mission was worth doing as I am truly amazed after doing it to find out that the strongest motivator for me was not all the reasons that I thought that I ” should” lose weight for… Even though they did not feature as ” shoulds”… they were all things that would make me feel better, healthier & happier so I thought they would be huge motivating forces… It was my DREAM of always wanting to ride leisurely around EUROPE on a SCOOTER & to be able to walk through the villages & markets drinking in the country side would be MAGICAL.
